While we were waiting for our day of travel to see our daughters, we were able to visit with some of the waiting children in our agency's transition house. A transition house is a home for children whose parents have passed federal court and are legally the children's parents in the country of Ethiopia, but are still waiting for all of the U.S. side of things to be completed. We were happy to visit and love on these adorable children who were so close to being united forever with their families. The nannies who work there take care of particular children on a given shift. I was impressed to see many of the children beginning to learn English. We were able to bring donations that family and friends had given us to bring for the children at the transition house. Here are a few pictures from our visit...

I blurred the children's faces to be respectful of their family's privacy.

Mark and I couldn't put these twins down...so cute...they cried when we put them back in their cribs.
